Once a children’s actor, and now a conservative media star, Brett Cooper has taken the Internet for storm with his comment on various political and cultural problems for millions of followers and subscribers of his social media platforms.
Fox News Digital sat down with Cooper, a host of “The Brett Cooper Show”, ahead of his live program in Atlanta, Georgia, to discuss his media career and his new podcast. Cooper has since signed as Fox’s media collaborator.
Cooper attended UCLA and felt the political climate of the school and the city of Los Angeles.
“I went to UCLA, I only decided that it was not really the way for me, at least being an actor was not, so I really became interested in production and being on the other side of Hollywood, and these kinds of people took me on a way to make videos.”
When Cooper started making videos, he received his attention from conservative media.
“I came in contact with some conservative organizations like Pageru,” said Cooper.
When Cooper was making videos for Pageru, he received attention from the Daily Wire to start a program, and his career “took off there.”
In January, Cooper launched “The Brett Cooper Show”.
“My family was always super vocal and open about politics and values and philosophy,” Cooper said. “We were a great family discussion family, but I did not follow the policy and did not discuss this way the current news and events.”
As he attended UCLA, Cooper found himself to analyze his political opinions.
“Going to UCLA, I faced people who were very involved in this world and worried very much,” said Cooper. “So I forced me to reconcile -with the values I had proposed with. So I think it was probably a turning point where I only had to confront -and find out, you know, in fact I think in the things that they posed to me.”
Initially, Cooper doubted to make politics a large part of who it is.
“I definitely did not do it at the forefront of my personality, especially because I knew that so many of my friends were on the left, I never wanted to cause a problem, but over time they found out what I think,” he said.
However, the political differences in his school were very obvious to Cooper.
“My favorite story is that I was hit on my head with a” communist manifesto “at a party because they were like” you should read this “, and they like them to happen to me.”
In 2020, Cooper posted a video on Instagram where he spoke about covids in Los Angeles.
“I make a video and literally I was so terrified that I turned off my phone and I like that I made it in the room. Um, because I was so terrified of publicly, you know, I put myself in this way.”
Cooper now hopes that others can help by providing unique perspectives and starting conversations.
“I do not ask you to change opinion, but if I help you understand something in a different light or see a different perspective that only makes you think of something new, it is fantastic. And if I can foster this community with my audience, my comments section, I think I’m doing something good.”
Cooper will provide cultural, social and political comments on Fox News’s media platforms.
Cooper launched its podcast “The Brett Cooper Show” in January and has accumulated more than 9 million followers on its social media platforms. The Z Z Conservative is known for “its basic perspective, ingenuity and distinctive prey,” said Fox News Media when he announced his new role.
In January, Cooper appeared in “Jesse Watters Primetime” to discuss the change in media landscape.
“I saw that the media landscape changed … and young people are only hungry for authentic and honest independent voices with their audience. They do not want to listen to traditional punctures 24 hours a day,” Cooper said.
Cooper is a UCLA graduate and is headquartered in Tennessee, where she lives with her husband.
